Jumeirah Group seeks an Officer for FM & Operations at J1 Beach La Mer in the United Arab Emirates. You will be the daily operations lead for facility management across MEP, soft services, security and cleaning, coordinating with contractors to meet scope, deadlines and service levels; supervise TVR works, perform plant inspections, track energy savings, maintain MEREX policies, and manage DLP defect logs while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or diploma in engineering and 3-5 years in FM operations, with a proven ability to orchestrate multi stakeholder activities and deliver on SLAs. Job Purpose: Serve as the point of contact on daily operations and facility management services (MEP, soft services, security, cleaning) of the assigned asset.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise and coordinate with contractors to ensure all scope of works and end user requirements are met.
- Coordinate with the contractor to execute the TVR works and meet the target dates.
- Inspect the performance of all plant and equipment
- Inspect energy/utilities saving implementation
- Implement and maintain MEREX policies and procedures
- Conduct the condition survey along with the service providers and update the defected issue in the DLP tracker.
- Inspect the redevelopment execution on daily basis to ensure quality delivery in a timely manner and least disruption of operations and prepare daily progress reports to the line manager.
- Conduct daily inspection for all the assets to verify safety and conditions of the assets
- Escalate and report appropriate line management of any potential risk or HSE violation at the asset.
- Ensuring full compliance with all laws, regulations, codes etc. from all competent authorities
- Demonstrate and apply of all the Service Level Agreements with the service providers as per the contract.
- Ensuring optimal maintenance of all assets including preventative and reactive maintenance
- Provide the service provider with the access required to perform their PPM and RM with no effect on the SLA/KPI
- Log and track daily complains / RM
- Conduct daily inspections for the entire asset/facilities to ensure that MEREX’s standard met
- Ensure the SLA of the service providers achieved as per the contract.
- Conduct monthly asset quality audits to ensure the service provider comply with the world best practices in FM
- Conducting asset inspection reports
- Conducting daily Mall preopening inspection to ensure the mall and tenants are ready to open for the visitors and public.
- Ensure all the works which carried out during the night shift completed and the mall is ready for public visitors.
- Closely working in conjunction with the members of the Asset Management and Asset Transaction teams.
- Coordinate with specialty leasing, M&P marketing and event departments to ensure the works have been completed during the out of trading hours.
- Coordinate with contractors on site for any facilities required (i.e. electrical, water…etc.)
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the function as may be assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / Diploma’s Degree in Engineering
- 3 - 5year relevant experience in FM Operations
- Facilities Engineering and Management
- Building Safety and Security
