Responsible for end-to-end reconciliation of expenses related to all government authorities handled by Regulatory Operations, including labor, immigration, health authorities,and other licensing bodies. The role ensures accurate tracking of payments, proper documentation, timely card top-ups, audit readiness, and financial compliance in line with UAE regulations and internal governance standards

  • Reconcile and validate all expenses related to government authorities including but not limited to labor, immigration, health authorities, licensing bodies.

  • Monitor and track payments for visas, labor contracts, licenses, permits, renewals, fines, penalties, inspections, and regulatory approvals.

  • Ensure accuracy between invoices, government receipts, credit card statements, and ERP records.

  • Maintain structured trackers and reconciliation reports covering all entities under Regulatory Operations.

  • Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and coordinate resolution with finance, PRO teams, and relevant authorities.

  • Ensure all government payment cards are adequately funded and top-ups are completed in a timely manner to avoid operational delays.

  • Monitor card balances regularly and coordinate with Finance for advance funding based on forecasted government transactions.

  • Reconcile card utilization against official government receipts and internal expense reports.

  • Ensure proper archiving of invoices, official receipts, payment confirmations, and regulatory documents for audit purposes.

  • Prepare periodic reconciliation reports, card utilization summaries, and financial dashboards for management review.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing complete and accurate documentation of government-related transactions.

  • Continuously review and improve reconciliation and card funding processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and financial control.

Ensure strict adherence to internal financial policies and UAE regulatory requirements.

Education and Certification

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of UAE government fee structures and regulatory processes across multiple authorities.

  • Advanced reconciliation skills covering invoices, receipts, bank transactions, card statements, and ERP financial entries.

  • Experience managing prepaid government cards and monitoring funding cycles.

  • Proficiency in ERP/finance systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred).

  • Strong analytical ability to identify inconsistencies and financial discrepancies.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong coordination skills with internal departments and external government stakeholders.

  • Understanding of compliance, audit requirements, and financial governance standards.

  • Senior Officer – Regulatory Operations benefits from having experience/competency in:

  • Knowledge of UAE labor and immigration regulations.

    Experience

6+ years of experience in government relations & regulatory operations. Preferably within the UAE healthcare sector will be an advantage.
