Transport for NSW is seeking an Operational Contract Partner to join the Wollongong based Operational Contract and Resource Management Team. This permanent full time onsite role involves travel across the Southern Region and occasional Sydney visits. You will own day to day procurement and contract management, provide guidance on self service processes, support delivery teams, and lead training and continuous improvement while building senior stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate brings proven problem solving in a customer centric environment and solid NSW government procurement knowledge; diverse backgrounds such as procurement, project management or training are welcome. In this role, you'll:


 Enjoy developing relationships and providing operational support including, partnering with the business to problem solve and navigate through the day-to-day processes to ensure both smooth and efficient customer centric operational procurement and contract management needs are achieved.

You will provide end-user support to delivery teams, offering guidance on navigating self-service processes and contract management activities, as well as claims validation and work order status monitoring.

As part of a new team, you will focus on training, continuous improvement for components such as procurement, sourcing and contract requirements.

This role will see you developing senior stakeholder relationships and providing operational support to the business who utilise self-service processes for their procurement, sourcing and contract requirements.

You will be based within our Operational Contract and Resource Management Team within the Operational Performance & Improvement Branch of the Road Maintenance & Resilience division.

About you


Your demonstrated and successful experience in problem solving within a customer centric environment will enable you to provide operational support to business processes.
 
You’re recognised for your in-depth knowledge of NSW government procurement and contract management procedures and practices as well as for your experience working with a diverse stakeholder group across project and operational environments.

This is a permanent role based in Wollongong or any NSW South Coast office, with TfNSW employees required to work at least 50% of their time from approved Transport workplace, including a minimum of 5 days per month at their position location. 

You may be required travel to other depots and offices within the Southern Region. We will consider regionally based candidates who are flexible to travel to throughout the region and also connect with the team occasionally in Sydney at Milsons Point.
