Job Description
Business Line Governance & Operational Management
- Provide governance and operational oversight across Egis Entities, ensuring compliance with protocols, procedures, and business objectives.
- Deliver training on applicable tools and processes to standardize operations and enhance team performance.
Project & Financial Management
- Lead and coordinate project review meetings, focusing on financial performance, cost-to-complete forecasts, and contingency utilization.
- Support Project Managers in preparing and reviewing project P&Ls, analyzing costs, revenues, and margins to ensure accurate financial tracking and performance.
- Prepare detailed reports for Business Line leadership, identifying and escalating key risks, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead resource management and utilization reviews, working closely with HODs to enhance workforce efficiency and BHR performance.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Financial Optimization
- Serve as a key liaison among Project Managers, Finance, Commercial, and regional teams to ensure accurate cost allocation, revenue recognition, utilization, invoicing, and cash collection tracking.
- Drive implementation of project management tools and processes to improve cross-functional collaboration and project financias.
Project Controls & Systems Governance
- Manage project management tools, including PMs trainings, intake processes, implementation, problem-solving, audits, and workflow approvals to maintain data integrity.
- Enforce project controls to strengthen operational and reporting accuracy.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Continuous improvement on Smartsheet initiatives and other tools to streamline operations, standardize best practices, and enhance reporting.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, process optimization, and organizational excellence across the Business Line.
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree from a reputable university.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering design, project management or operations management within an engineering consultancy firm.
- Experience in working with multicultural teams across several geographical locations.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with project managers, shared services and internal stakeholders.
- Proven organizational capabilities and a flexible, solution-driven approach to challenges.
- Strong presentation skills
- Advance software management skills. Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English - Arabic considered a plus.
