Weta Workshop is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead eight manufacturing departments at its Miramar workshop, fusing craftsmanship with delivery discipline in a safety focused, value driven culture. You’ll own safety, planning, scheduling, resourcing, continuous improvement and financial planning, driving OTIF, reducing WIP and delivering cost efficient, high quality production for bespoke projects. The ideal candidate brings systems thinking, strong health and safety leadership around machinery and hazardous substances, credible, low ego leadership, cross functional influence and ERP/MRP experience (Odoo a bonus). Relocation assistance may be available. To apply, tailor your resume with concrete delivery stabilisation, capex planning and people development examples and email [email protected] by 8 March 2026.
Wētā Workshop is an award-winning creative design and manufacturing facility based in Wellington, New Zealand — where artists, makers, and storytellers bring imaginary worlds to life. From creatures to costumes, props to miniatures, tours, and entire immersive experiences, we turn ideas into reality.
