WM New Zealand is seeking an Operator in Hazardous Waste in Auckland to safely operate equipment that processes medical and biosecurity waste. This onsite role sits in the Technical Services division, with training and a buddy system. Key duties include loading and operating bin lifters and conveyors, running Rotoclave steam sterilising units, unloading, washing and lining bins, and moving wheeled bins with some forklift work. They’re looking for a can do attitude, willingness to learn, the ability to work autonomously or in a team, and clear communication; forklift experience is desirable but not essential. WM Technical Services can process hazardous and liquid wastes safely and with full compliance to government and council laws and by-laws governing liquid and hazardous waste disposal.
