Specsavers in Yeovil is offering a full-time Optical Assistant Apprentice role for 15-18 months, with on the job training and structured learning, earning £8.20 per hour across 37.5 hours with weekend work. Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Yeovil is a modern eye care and hearing centre located in the heart of Yeovil on Middle Street. The store provides comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens services, OCT eye health scans, children's eye care, and professional audiology services, including hearing tests and hearing aids. With experienced opticians and audiologists, the branch offers a wide range of glasses, sunglasses, and hearing solutions, delivering expert care and personalised service to the local community.

Your on-the-job training will sit alongside structured learning and at the end of the 15-18 months as an apprentice, you’ll be a fully-fledged Optical Assistant.   

Who is this Apprenticeship for?  

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant Apprentice.  

• You’ll need a grade 9-4 (A*-C) GCSEs in Maths (or equivalent/predicted result) 
• Individuals who have lived in the EU for 3 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
