Hydro Extrusions is hiring a Packer (CNV) for a full-time onsite role in Connersville, IN, with starting pay of $19.51 per hour plus a $0.50 night shift premium and a benefits package that includes medical, Rx, dental, disability and life insurance, retirement with company match, education assistance and parental leave. Shifts include night shift Mon-Thurs 5:45 pm to 6:00 am and day shift 5:45 am to 6:00 pm (2-2-3). You will read work orders and plans, operate equipment, lift and stack products, maintain efficiency and housekeeping, and record measurements, with potential long hours in seasonal temperatures. No high school diploma required; essential traits are teamwork, willingness to learn, basic math, tape measure reading, and calculator use. Starting Rate of Pay: $ 19.51/hour
Shifts Available and Hours: Night shift- Mon-Thurs, 5:45 pm- 6:00 am
Day shift- EOWEO/ 2-2-3; 5:45 am- 6:00 pm
Shift Premium: Night shift- $.50/ hour for night shift
What you will be doing
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
- Safely and efficiently operates assigned equipment or machine.
- Lifts and stacks products.
- Maintains efficiency standards set for assigned areas.
- Maintains good housekeeping of work areas.
- Accurately record numbers or lengths of units handled or moved.
- Must be able to work long hours as needed in seasonal temperatures
What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience:
- No High School Diploma or GED required.
- Little to no previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience is needed.
- Must be able to work well with others as part of a team.
- Must possess a willingness to learn and an eagerness to grow.
- Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply).
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must be able to use a calculator.
