The role
As a Paid Media Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of paid media campaigns across digital channels with a primary focus on paid social (LinkedIn, Meta) driving demand generation, audience engagement and business growth.
You will leverage data, insights and testing methodologies to maximise campaign performance, identify new opportunities and deliver measurable results. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate marketing objectives into effective media strategies while ensuring campaigns are executed efficiently, on time, and in line with best practices.
Duties and responsibilities
The role is defined, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop, manage and optimise paid social campaigns, while supporting paid search activations where necessary to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
- Support the planning and execution of paid media strategies aligned with demand generation, engagement and growth goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including content, creative and marketing stakeholders, to ensure paid media activities support broader campaign objectives.
- Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, using data and insights to identify opportunities for optimisation and improved results.
- Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate audience targeting, creative messaging, bidding strategies and channel effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement through conversion rate optimisation, attribution analysis and performance measurement best practices.
- Identify and implement optimisation opportunities to maximise campaign effectiveness, return on investment and overall marketing impact.
- Maintain accurate campaign documentation, including plans, test results, performance insights and key learnings.
- Ensure all paid media activities comply with internal processes, policies and quality standards.
- Stay up to date with digital advertising trends, platform developments and industry best practices, bringing new ideas and opportunities to the team.
- Support additional marketing initiatives and projects as required to meet evolving business needs.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in paid media, digital marketing or performance marketing, with ideally 5+ years' experience managing campaigns across multiple digital channels.
- Strong understanding of paid search, paid social and digital advertising principles, including campaign planning, optimisation, targeting and performance measurement.
- Experience using advertising and analytics platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience monitoring campaign performance and implementing optimisation strategies to improve results and return on investment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, creative and business teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is desirable, or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
