The ideal candidate will prepare surfaces, apply paints and finishes, ensure masking and protection, repair defects, and uphold safety protocols, with experience in construction or hospitality, a keen eye for detail, strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work unsupervised while prioritising orders and materials. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

We are seeking a qualified Painter & Decorator to join our passionate team to give students the ultimate experience. As a Painter & Decorator you will be required you to carry out painting of interior and exterior works which is a combination of special projects (renovations) and ongoing maintenance.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding.
• Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure proper masking and protection of adjacent surfaces.
• Repair and patch surfaces as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or hospitality industries.
• High attention to detail.
•  Great organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work unsupervised.
• Responsible for ordering of materials and prioritising work orders.
