We’re looking for an inspiring and hands on Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in delivering exceptional park operations, guest experiences, and commercial performance. This is a key leadership role - visible, proactive, and central to the smooth running of the park.

As an Assistant General Manager, you will support and represent the General Manager across all aspects of park leadership. You’ll help bring our culture and values to life, ensuring teams are motivated, operational standards are high, and the park runs seamlessly day to day.
Alongside your operational responsibilities, you’ll follow a tailored development plan designed to prepare you for promotion into a General Manager role. You’ll gain exposure to all areas of the business while taking hands on ownership of departmental performance and leadership.
What you will be doing...
• Support and represent the General Manager across all areas of park management.
• Build a strong, trusted working relationship and confidently deputise during periods of absence.
• Work closely with all Heads of Department to ensure smooth, efficient, high quality operations.
• Champion improvements across all departments to enhance guest and owner satisfaction.
• Review service and operational performance data, supporting GM led action plans.
• Lead by example - bringing our values to life and fostering a positive, inclusive culture.
• Coach, mentor and develop Heads of Department to build their leadership capability and confidence.
• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing training in partnership with the People Team.
• Help embed accountability, succession planning and strong team engagement.
• Support delivery of financial performance including sales revenue, margins, budgets and payroll.
• Monitor spending, identify risks, and escalate concerns promptly - taking corrective action when required.
• Contribute to commercial initiatives that increase sales growth and profitability.
About you...
• Experience leading and managing large teams across multiple departments in a fast paced environment.
• A leadership style grounded in positivity, engagement, development and accountability.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience contributing to financial performance.
• Confident IT skills and the ability to learn new business systems quickly.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• High emotional intelligence - calm under pressure, great with people, and confident in managing conflict and change.
• A clear ambition to progress into a General Manager role.
• Experience supporting or delivering large scale operational or commercial projects.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
