Responsibilities
Job Purpose As the Warehouse & Distribution Manager, you will play a dual role as both a strategic architect and an operational leader for XPENG’s European spare parts warehousing and distribution. You will manage the central European warehouse via 3PL partners while driving standardization, training, and performance excellence across regional distributor warehouses. Your expertise in supply chain strategy, 3PL optimization, and cross-functional collaboration will directly impact delivery reliability, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Supply Chain Leadership: - Design and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies for aftermarket parts distribution, aligning with XPENG’s Europe spare parts objectives. - Optimize network design (hub-and-spoke, decentralized models) to balance inventory costs, delivery speed, and service coverage. 2. Central Warehouse Management (3PL): - Oversee daily operations of XPENG’s central European warehouse managed by 3PL providers, ensuring SLA compliance, inventory accuracy (>99%), inbound/outbound accuracy, and cost control. - Implement advanced forecasting tools and demand-planning processes to minimize stock outs and excess inventory. 3. Regional Distributor Warehouse Development: - Lead training programs and capacity-building initiatives for regional distributor warehouses, standardizing processes (e.g., receiving, storage, order fulfillment). - Conduct regular audits and performance assessments, providing actionable feedback to improve KPIs (OTIF, cycle time, damage rates). - Develop and share best practices for warehouse automation, safety protocols, and sustainability (e.g., waste reduction, energy efficiency). 4. 3PL & Partner Collaboration: - Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with 3PL providers and regional distributors, ensuring alignment with XPENG’s quality and efficiency standards. - Resolve cross-border logistics challenges (e.g., customs clearance, tariff optimization) in collaboration with trade compliance teams. 5. Data-Driven Continuous Improvement: - Utilize analytics (Power BI, Tableau) to monitor supply chain performance, identify bottlenecks, and deploy corrective actions. - Lead projects to integrate digital tools (IoT, RFID) for real-time inventory visibility across the network.
Qualifications
Qualifications: - Education: Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or MBA preferred. - Experience: - 5+ years in 3PL/warehouse management within the European automotive aftermarket parts sector (3–5 years acceptable with exceptional strategic experience). - Proven success in designing and executing supply chain strategies for multi-tier distribution networks. - Hands-on experience in training/developing external partners or regional warehouses. - Skills: - Expertise in network optimization, inventory modeling, and cost-to-serve analysis. - Proficiency in ERP/WMS (SAP EWM, Oracle), TMS systems, and data visualization tools. - Strong leadership with ability to influence stakeholders across cultures. - Fluent in English; additional European languages (German, French, Spanish) highly valued. -Travels: This job needs constant travel among our central warehouses and visit our distributor warehouses.
