We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our Service Department as an PDI Technician. This is a Full-Time, Regular position for our Halifax Dealership in NS.

The PDI Technician is responsible for making ready all service and sales units for customers as well as assisting with checking in new units, show set up and taking inventory pictures.

Job Duties:

  • Reviewing work orders.
  • Performing a complete diagnostic review to determine problem(s).
  • Completing all warranty and repair work as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • PDI’s (Pre-Delivery Inspections) of all our rental units. This includes small repairs varying from appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and oil changes.
  • Pick up parts/supplies.
  • Service parts cleaner
  • Put shop supplies away.
  • Sweep floors.
  • Take out cardboard bin and empty garbage.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good attitude
  • Good diagnostic skills
  • RV & Trailer repairs experience an asset.
  • Experience with Plumbing, Carpentry, or Electrical (Automotive or Industrial)
  • Ability to work rotating Saturdays
  • General house renovation skills
  • Level 1 RV Certificate and experience in RV & trailers would be an asset
  • Wage per hour ranges from $17 to $21, based on RV experience
