The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Allergy & Immunology, is currently seeking a Professor to lead its Asthma and Environmental Health Program.
Summary
Clinical/Teaching:
1. Provide safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care at TCH Main Campus in the outpatient setting for allergy and asthma care.
2. Provide clinical leadership to medical and nursing staff.
3. Role model ethical and professional behavior with every interaction.
4. Supervise and educate medical and nursing staff when appropriate in the care of allergy patients.
5. Educate and supervise trainees including fellows, residents, medical students, and advanced practice practitioners.
6. Lead the Center for Environmental Health in the Center for Human Immunobiology and Texas Children's Research Institute
7. Lead environmental health and asthma research program for clinical and translational research
Minimum Qualifications
• MD/DO or equivalent
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
• Board certified/eligible in Allergy & Immunology
