Stride is hiring a Peer Worker for the Stride Hub in Parramatta, NSW, a permanent full time onsite role that combines flexible non clinical support with DBT services for adults, families and carers within a recovery oriented community service. You will help clients review needs, enable independence, and contribute to outcomes measures and notes while working in a multidisciplinary team and engaging in training. Requirements include a Cert IV in a community services discipline (Bachelor or Diploma preferred), lived experience of mental illness or caring for someone, knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, WWCC eligibility, NDIS worker screening, a current driver’s license and a vehicle. Stride Hub is a community mental health and wellbeing service for adults, their families and carers that offers access to integrated care and support to improve recovery outcomes. Participants can access a range of community mental health support services; clinical mental health services; care coordination and NDIS supports. The service also offers full DBT clinical and DBT skills building interventions to the community.
