GoCardless is seeking a full‑time onsite People Advisor in Leeds to join the People Operations team, reporting to the Director of People Operations, Reward and People Partnering. You will be the go‑to HR contact for employees and managers, triaging with good judgement, supporting three Senior People Partners and the People Relations Partner, assisting with employee relations matters, and helping develop scalable HR processes and toolkits to deliver a cohesive, data driven employee experience. The ideal candidate has HR Coordinator/Assistant/Junior HR Advisor experience, UK employment law knowledge, excellent organisation and communication skills, a pragmatic, collaborative approach, and a growth mindset with openness to AI driven efficiency. Base salary £29,600-£44,400; starting pay typically the minimum to mid point (£29,600-£37,000) with progression. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, Reward and People Partnering, the People Advisor will play a key role in creating a high performing and inclusive employee experience. This role exists to create real capacity within the People Partnering team — enabling our Senior People Partners and People Relations Partner to focus on strategic, high-impact work, while you ensure the foundations are consistently excellent. Base salary range: £29,600- £44,400 (gross)
Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point (£29,600 - £37,000) of the pay range until performance can be assessed in the role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
