Who you are

We’re looking for a People & Talent Associate who will support AstroLabs’ employee experience and talent growth across our teams in KSA, UAE, and remote locations. In this role, you will help ensure a seamless employee journey, from hiring and onboarding to development, engagement, and day-to-day people operations.

You will contribute to talent acquisition efforts, support employee lifecycle processes, and help deliver people initiatives that strengthen engagement, culture, and team effectiveness. Working closely with colleagues across Dubai, Riyadh, Lebanon, and remote teams, you will play a key role in maintaining a consistent and positive employee experience across geographies.

What you’ll do

Talent Acquisition

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating interviews.

  • Maintain and manage the ATS, ensuring accurate tracking of candidate pipelines.

  • Assist in building talent pipelines and managing internal referral programs.

Onboarding & Offboarding (UAE & Remote)

  • Coordinate onboarding for UAE and remote employees, ensuring a smooth start including documentation, orientation, and system access.

  • Execute offboarding processes including documentation, access closure, and asset retrieval.

Performance & Learning Support

  • Support performance review cycles by coordinating timelines, documentation, and communication.

  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning & development initiatives.

  • Support workshops and development programs execution.

People Events & Engagement (UAE & Remote)

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives including team events, recognition programs, and celebrations.

  • Support initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and retention.

HRIS & Data Management (UAE & Remote)

  • Own HRIS accuracy for UAE and remote employees.

  • Maintain employee lifecycle records including contracts, leaves, and status changes.

Compliance, Gov. Portal & Insurance (UAE)

  • Own DMCC and relevant UAE government portals, ensuring compliance and timely updates.

  • Stay informed on UAE labor regulations and ensure adherence.

  • Handle official document requests for employees.

  • Manage UAE medical insurance enrollments, renewals, and employee support.

People Special Projects

  • Support People Team strategic initiatives and special projects similar to employee retention, employer branding, and employee value proposition.

  • Assist with reporting, research, and process improvements.

  • Support initiatives that enhance employee experience and workplace satisfaction.

Employee Relations & Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and support requests.

  • Assist in resolving employee concerns in coordination with the People Team.

  • Coordinate employee travel bookings including visas, flights and accommodations.

  • Issue, retrieve and track company assets (laptops, SIM cards) and maintain accurate records.

Success in this role

  • Onboarding and offboarding processes run smoothly and professionally.

  • Performance and learning initiatives are well-coordinated and timely.

  • HRIS data is accurate and up to date.

  • Employee engagement initiatives drive participation and satisfaction.

  • Compliance requirements and DMCC portal updates are timely and accurate.

  • Employees experience responsive support and a positive workplace environment.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or Talent Acquisition.

  • Familiarity with UAE labor practices and DMCC processes is a plus.

  • Experience using ATS and HRIS systems.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
