Community Care Trust is looking for a compassionate and adaptable Permanent Reliever Support Worker to join our Regional Intellectual Disability Supported Accommodation Service (RIDSAS) team in Dunedin | Ōtepoti.

This full-time role provides planned leave cover and short-notice support across our female RIDSAS services. Every day is different, offering variety while working alongside experienced teams who are passionate about making a genuine difference.

As a Permanent Reliever, you'll support people with intellectual disabilities and high and complex needs to build confidence, develop independence, and live meaningful lives.

Success in this role comes from your ability to build trust and genuine rapport with the people you support. You'll bring patience, resilience, and consistency while confidently adapting to different homes and teams.

RIDSAS provides specialist 24/7 rehabilitation support for people with intellectual disabilities who have high and complex needs, including people who have had contact with the justice system. Our approach is person-centred, strengths-based, and focused on supporting each person to achieve their goals.

As our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, flexibility to work a variety of rostered shifts, including weekends, is essential.
