Children’s National Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Night) for the EVERGREEN unit at the CN Hospital main campus in Washington DC. The role assists Pharmacists with technical tasks, trains and orients teammates, and helps plan the technicians’ schedule. You will maintain Pyxis drawers and controlled substance records, manage kit systems, and oversee purchasing, invoicing, and inventory with a focus on cost reduction and contract pricing. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, one year of pharmacy technician experience preferred, strong English and math skills, good communication and leadership ability, and the ability to lift about 25 pounds. The Pharmacy Technician (NIGHT) will assist Pharmacists with technical and supportive functions. Will train and provide orientation and guidance to Pharmacy Technicians. Will assist to plan and assign the Technician's work schedule.
Minimum Education
