About the Role

The Physical Therapist Technician provides support to the Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants and other members of the clinical team in order to deliver the best possible patient care. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, personable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position with schedule to be determined. 

Duties include:

  • Greet and prepare patients for their therapy sessions.
  • Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatments.
  • Transport patients to and from therapy areas as needed.
  • Set up and clean treatment areas before and after therapy sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.

About You

You would be a great fit for this role if you bring the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or rehabilitation facility preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established protocols.
  • Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move patients using proper body mechanics.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Capacity to handle and operate physical therapy equipment.
