Northwestern Memorial Healthcare invites you to join its outpatient Pain Management clinic in Chicago as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This injection‑based, outpatient role also includes medication management with minimal first‑assist in the OR, a full patient schedule, and a weekday M through F shift with no nights, weekends, or on‑call requirements. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in nursing or from an accredited PA program, Illinois licensure (RN/APRN or PA) with national certification and MSO privileges, BLS and ACLS, and a DEA license, plus a minimum of two years APP experience. Emphasize collaboration with physicians, imaging interpretation, IT pump refills, MyChart communication, teaching, and quality improvement. Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for either a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to work in our Pain Management department. This position is an outpatient position with minimal FA in the OR.
The Pain Clinic is an outpatient practice that primarily treats patients with Chronic Pain related to Spine and Joint related diagnosis. The clinic is an injection-based practice and offers some medication management.
The APP will have a full schedule of patients to evaluate and treat. Will be responsible for medication management, IT pump refills, interpreting imaging, perform some injections, and Mychart messages. Minimal First Assist in the OR.
