About the role:

UGL are seeking an experienced PIF Supervisor to join our team on an casual basis working on a major Oil & Gas project.

Commencing in August, you will be working adhoc project work across multiple O&G facilities, point of hire is Perth, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of Painter Blasters to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.

  • Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.

  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.

  • Communication: Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.

  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.

  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.

  • Adhoc project work 

  • 12-hour days (per full shift worked)

About you:

  • NACE 2 (Essential)

  • BOSIET + MSIC (Essential)

  • Proven experience in a supervisory position

  • Strong understanding of QA/QC, preservation processes, and material care standards

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
