About the Role

As the Planner/Scheduler, you will play a key role in connecting asset strategy with maintenance delivery. You will develop and coordinate safe, efficient maintenance schedules, ensuring the right people, resources, parts and equipment are available for preventative and corrective maintenance. Working closely with the Asset Management team, you'll help maintain accurate maintenance data and support reliable asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and schedule maintenance activities in line with maintenance plans and scopes of work.
  • Schedule corrective maintenance within contractual and statutory timeframes.
  • Prioritise work based on asset criticality, condition and operational requirements.
  • Prepare detailed work plans, including labour, materials, tools and equipment.
  • Manage maintenance backlog and optimise schedule efficiency.
  • Communicate maintenance schedules with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare maintenance performance, compliance and asset reports.
  • Support predictive and preventative maintenance planning.
  • Coordinate contractors and manage the procure-to-pay process.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CMMS data and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
  • Complete maintenance administration and other related duties as required.

About You

You are an organised, analytical professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced maintenance environment. You have strong planning skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering safe, reliable outcomes.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Planner/Scheduler
  • Experience within Facilities Maintenance or a similar asset-intensive environment
  • Strong knowledge of Asset Lifecycle Management (ISO 55000 principles)
  • Experience using CMMS and advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organisational, planning and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and perform under pressure
  • A continuous improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean methodologies
  • Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in a technical discipline (desirable)
  • Project Management experience (desirable)
