What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:

Resources supporting this project should demonstrate experience/understanding of Minimum Compliment and Certified Training.  Also, a minimum understanding of OPG processes for initial and certified training, continuing training structure, license maintenance and duties of an Authorized Nuclear Operator (ANO) and Control Room Shift Supervisor (CRSS) / Shift Manager (SM) should be demonstrated.  The Contractor should demonstrate they have been involved/led a successful change management process at OPG or in the nuclear industry.

Additional Required Expertise/Experience:

·        Extensive knowledge and experience with OPG ad CNSC processes and governance related to operator certification required.

·        Professional written and verbal communications commensurate with dealing with a government regulatory authority including confidentiality around sensitive information.

·        Communication with the CNSC (written correspondence and online or in-person meetings) shall follow established protocols with Regulatory Affairs and other OPG department.

·        Access to the Protected Area at PNGS/DNGS is not required. Access to the Pickering Learning Centre (PLC) and Darlington Learning Centre (DLC) and other training facilities may be required.

·        In order to support the regulatory interfaces, the project will require that the vendor resources have been previously certified by the CNSC as an ANO, CRSS or SM at any site.

·        Must have resources with extensive experience (> 2 years) in the Certification Exam group as an Authorization Training Supervisor (ATS) or Manager (or equivalent) at any site.

·        Must have previous experience working directly for the CNSC.

 For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $120,000 to $162,000 CAD. Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
