Foodstuffs is looking for a Platform Specialist in Auckland to own and operate enterprise platforms that underpin stores, teams and customers, keep systems secure and performing in a 24/7 environment, and drive upgrades, automation and reliability initiatives. You’ll troubleshoot incidents, patch lifecycle, manage access and vulnerability remediation, and help us continually reduce risk while improving performance. What you’ll do
As a Platform Specialist, you'll play a key role in building, supporting and maintaining critical platforms and business systems.
Deliver enhancements, upgrades, and improvements that increase platform stability and performance
Monitor, support, and maintain critical systems in a 24/7 operational environment
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and help restore services quickly
Implement automation and tooling that reduce manual effort and operational risk
Manage patching, upgrades, and platform lifecycle activities
Ensure systems remain secure through best-practice configuration, access management, and vulnerability remediation
Contribute to continuous improvement, reliability initiatives, and root cause analysis activities

Strong hands-on experience supporting and operating enterprise platforms and business systems
Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment
Solid troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of platform security, patching, access controls, and vulnerability management
Experience delivering upgrades, releases, and platform changes safely and effectively
Familiarity with automation, monitoring, and modern engineering practices
Excellent communication skills and the ability to keep stakeholders informed during incidents and change activities
A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to quality service delivery
