Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Training and assessing the Certificate II and III in Plumbing, post trade competencies and skill sets in the classroom and simulated work environment
  • Develop effective working relationships with students and employers whilst mentoring and training
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of RTO programs
  • Monitor apprentice training plans and ensure timely progression of our students through their courses
  • Delivering engaging, hands-on training and assessment in a supportive environment

What You Will Bring

  • Hands-on industry experience in all aspects of Plumbing work
  • Qualified in TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Passion for mentoring and helping others succeed - inspire and support students throughout their learning
  • Strong communication and people-focused skills - able to engage students of all backgrounds
  • Adaptability — able to modify training materials to suit different learning styles
  • Reasonable level of computer skills
