Wood is seeking a PMC Specialist QA/QC Engineer to support ADNOC Offshore in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures EPC Contractors meet ADNOC Offshore specifications, international standards and contractual obligations through oversight of QA/QC activities, the QMS, PQP and ITPs, with audits and site surveillance and potential offshore rotation. You will witness inspections, manage NCRs and CAPAs, review FATs and MTCs, and coordinate with ADNOC Offshore, EPC QA/QC teams and third‑party inspectors. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Instrumentation, 15+ years in Oil & Gas with 5+ offshore, PMC experience preferred, strong ADNOC standards knowledge, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor preferred, NDT Level II/III advantageous. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office with a possibility to move to offshore rotation in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Quality Management & Assurance
- Review and approve Contractor’s Project Quality Plan (PQP), ITPs, procedures, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with:
- ADNOC Offshore standards
- ISO 9001 requirements
- Project specifications and codes (ASME, API, ASTM, IEC, etc.)
- Monitor implementation of Contractor’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Inspection & Surveillance
- Witness critical inspections and tests (as per ITP).
- Monitor:
- Welding activities and WPS/PQR compliance
- NDT activities
- Hydrotesting / Pressure testing
- Coating & painting inspections
- Mechanical completion checks
- Conduct site surveillance to ensure quality compliance at fabrication yards and offshore locations.
- Ensure proper calibration of inspection and test equipment.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Review and endorse:
- Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Ensure timely closure of quality issues.
- Evaluate root cause analysis from Contractors.
- Escalate major quality concerns to QA/QC Manager.
Vendor & Material Quality Control
- Review vendor documents and inspection reports.
- Participate in:
- Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Vendor audits
- Ensure materials comply with approved specifications.
- Verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
Documentation & Reporting
- Review and approve:
- Quality dossiers
- Turnover packages
- As-built documentation
- Ensure proper document control and traceability.
- Submit weekly/monthly QA/QC reports to PMC Management and ADNOC
Interface & Coordination
- Liaise with:
- ADNOC Offshore Quality Team
- EPC Contractor QA/QC team
- Third-party inspection agencies
- Support construction and commissioning teams in resolving quality issues.
- Participate in project progress and technical meetings
Offshore Responsibilities (If Assigned Offshore)
- Conduct offshore inspection and surveillance.
- Ensure compliance with offshore safety and quality standards.
- Verify mechanical completion, punch list clearance, and readiness for commissioning

Expected
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Instrumentation).
- Minimum 15 years experience in Oil & Gas projects.
- Minimum 5+ years in offshore projects.
- Previous experience in PMC role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards (highly preferred).
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (preferred).
- NDT Level II/III certification (advantageous depending on discipline).
