We are currently seeking a PMO Lead – Smart Metering to join our team.
The PMO Lead will support the Programme Manager in establishing and maintaining programme governance, planning, and reporting for a large-scale Smart Metering initiative in the Middle East. The role ensures consistency across project streams (Meters, communications services, HES, MDMS, IT Integration, and Testing) and alignment with Talan’s delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities
• Report directly to the Programme Manager and support programme control and coordination activities.
• Develop and maintain the integrated programme plan, milestones, and dependencies.
• Implement standard processes for risk, issue, and change management.
• Consolidate progress and KPI reports across all delivery streams.
• Prepare materials for steering committees and executive reviews.
• Ensure quality and consistency of project documentation.
• Support financial tracking, resource management, and vendor governance.
• Coordinate with the Contract Manager and Testing Lead on status and dependencies.
• Strong experience in PMO or project control roles on complex IT or infrastructure programmes.
• Proven track record supporting large, multi-stream projects within utilities or smart metering.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong command of MS Project, Power BI, and PMO toolsets.
• Experience in the GCC region or energy sector advantageous.
• PMP, MPM, or MSP certification beneficial.
