The Rees Hotel Queenstown is seeking a full-time Porter/Driver onsite in Queenstown to welcome guests, assist with check-in and luggage, promote bespoke activities, safely operate the guest shuttle and other company vehicles, and provide overnight support as part of delivering a 5-star Queenstown experience. The ideal candidate communicates warmly, holds a full clean driver’s licence (Passenger Endorsement a bonus), and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. Hospitality experience is valued but not essential; personality, adaptability, local knowledge, and a professional appearance matter. Overnight support is expected as part of the role.
What We’re Looking For:
A great communicator with a passion for people and a keen sense of hospitality
Full, clean driver’s licence (Passenger Endorsement is a bonus)
Ability to work independently, while thriving in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in front-of-house roles at high-end properties is beneficial but not essential – we value personality, adaptability, and enthusiasm
Knowledge of the local area is a huge plus – share your insights!
Strong English skills; a second language is a bonus for our diverse guests
Competent with computers; experience using PMS systems is a bonus
Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays – perfect for those who love to balance work and life
