WSP Middle East is seeking a Portfolio Delivery Lead / Manager to join our team in UAE, supporting our ongoing commitments in the region. The role focuses on strengthening client relationships, driving work-winning efforts, ensuring excellent project delivery, and contributing to strategic growth across our markets.

Portfolio to be determined, likely to be 3-4 major clients based across a singular geography.

Account Strategy & Growth Enablement – 30%

  • Lead, nurture, and grow relationships across priority accounts, ensuring continuous alignment with client objectives and WSP’s value proposition.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, fostering long‑term partnerships and anticipating future needs.
    Develop and execute strategic account plans that leverage market intelligence, CRM insights, and sector trends to identify and advance new opportunities.
  • Partner closely with internal business units to shape work‑winning strategies, supporting pursuits, proposals, executive presentations, and commercial positioning.
  • Contribute strategic insights to WSP’s growth agenda, informing market positioning, account prioritisation, and long-term business development planning.
  • Strengthen WSP’s brand presence in by championing best practices, sector knowledge, and client-centric delivery excellence.


Strategic Project Delivery Oversight & Client Advocacy – 20%

  • Provide senior oversight across the client portfolio to ensure mobilisation, governance, and delivery are aligned to client outcomes and WSP’s commercial and quality standards.
  • Lead or support project kick-off activities, ensuring clear scope, roles and responsibilities, interfaces, reporting cadence, and success measures are agreed with the client and internal delivery teams.
  • Act as the client’s advocate internally bringing the voice of the client into delivery decisions, resourcing discussions, prioritization, and issue escalation.
  • Partner with Project Directors and discipline leads to proactively manage delivery risk, programme interfaces, critical dependencies, and change control supporting timely resolution of issues that could impact scope, schedule, cost, or reputation.
  • Sponsor innovation and continuous improvement across the account(s), identifying opportunities for digital enablement, improved ways of working, lessons learned, and value-adding initiatives.
  • Support delivery assurance through periodic check-ins, health reviews, and feedback loops helping maintain consistent performance, quality of outputs, and a high-standard client experience.
  • Provide senior oversight across the client portfolio to ensure mobilisation, governance, and delivery are aligned to client outcomes and WSP’s commercial and quality standards.

Strategic Technical Project Delivery – 50%

  • Lead the technical delivery and project management of transport planning projects, ensuring scope, programme, budget, resourcing, and quality requirements are effectively managed from initiation through to completion.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex transport planning studies, mobility strategies, and advisory assignments, maintaining alignment across technical inputs, client expectations, and project objectives.
  • Provide leadership on large-scale transport integration projects, managing interfaces across modes, corridors, assets, and stakeholder groups to support coherent and implementable outcomes.
  • Oversee project governance, reporting, risk management, and change control for technically complex assignments, ensuring issues are proactively identified and resolved in collaboration with clients and delivery teams.
  • Support the development of integrated transport solutions by working closely with planning, engineering, digital, and infrastructure teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality outputs that respond to strategic and operational needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 year’s experience in client-facing, business development, or project delivery roles within engineering, construction, or the built‑environment sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in key account management, work‑winning, or senior client relationship leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven capacity to build strategic, long-term partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE and KSA market landscape, industry dynamics, and regional delivery context (preferred).
