ENGIE is seeking a Portfolio Management Advisor in Houston to own the gross margin from retail contract sales across deregulated markets (CAISO, PJM, NEPOOL, NYISO, MISO). You will manage the full P&L of the retail power book, explain delivery month actuals and MTM, hedge strategies, and forward curve calibration, while partnering with Sales, Origination, Trading, Operations, Risk, and Digital teams to hit margin and sales goals. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in a quantitative field or 10 years of related experience, at least seven years in retail power with PJM and MISO expertise, strong market fundamentals and hedging knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and data tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI. As our Portfolio Management Advisor, you will be directly accountable to deliver expected gross margin originated from retail contract sales, focusing on all Northeast and California deregulated power markets (CAISO, PJM, NEPOOL, NYISO, and MISO). The Advisor will own all aspects of P&L related to their retail power book, including detailed explanation of delivery month actuals, PPA’s, forward book MTM changes, and budget planning. The Advisor will be responsible for identifying risks, recommending hedge strategies, and taking direct action to hedge and manage all price and volume risk exposures inherit in retail power business. In collaboration with other key members of the Portfolio Management Team, the Advisor will share responsibility in formulating forward price curves for all COGS components of full- requirements products and continuous calibration of costing assumptions to ensure Engie remains competitive in retail space and share accountability to meet Sales goals. The Advisor will also interact with other internal teams to meet Engie Resources’ objectives, including Sales, Business Development, Origination, Trading, Operations, Risk Management, Marketing, and Digital teams.

Salary Range: $117,300 – $179,860 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
