The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a portfolio manager for Digital Transactions products who possesses a deep understanding of the European payment markets and can effectively manage the portfolio while supporting product managers. This role requires a strategic thinker who can seamlessly blend market insight with operational agility, ensuring that our portfolio aligns with company objectives and responds to market demands. Moreover, the ability to mentor and guide product managers is essential, tailoring support to their level of maturity and experience to help them develop their skills and realize their full potential.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Market Knowledge & Strategy :

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Open Banking and Trading markets to challenge assumptions and guide decision-making
  • Provide strategic input and arbitration for marketing initiatives with Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to ensure market relevance and competitiveness

Coaching & Development for Product Managers :

  • Organize regular one-on-one meetings with product managers to review progress, provide feedback, and challenge outcomes
  • Guide product managers in their functional direction, helping them stay aligned with strategic goals while motivating their professional development

 

Portfolio Management & Synchronization :

  • Oversee coordination at the portfolio level, ensuring product boards and synchronization with all stakeholders, including delivery teams, sales, and other entities
  • Actively participate in tribe steering committees to align portfolio strategies with broader organizational goals

 

Primary Point of Contact & Representation :

  • Serve as the main representative of the portfolio for other organizational entities, facilitating and leading global discussions
  • Oversee prioritization efforts and maintain financial oversight within the portfolio, following investment and follow-up process

 

 

Who Are we looking for  

 

  • Educational Background : A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Market Insight : Strong ability to understand and capitalize on market trends and insights.
  • Leadership: Capable of mentoring and guiding product managers effectively, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to represent the portfolio and animate discussions across the organization
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with meticulous attention to detail
  • Financial Insight: Experience in financial tracking and prioritization of initiatives
  • Proficiency in English, with multilingual capabilities considered a plus
