Purpose of the role
To be responsible for the lifecycle asset management of Powerco's critical primary and secondary substation assets that underpin the reliable supply of electricity to more than 350,000 customer connections. Through your leadership of the Power Assets Team and your role within the Network Assets Lead Team, you will help deliver a safe, dependable and affordable electricity supply by applying your expertise to industry-leading asset management processes and systems such as Copperleaf.

What you'll bring
A background in the electricity industry, coupled with experience in asset management or investment planning supported by a bachelor’s degree in engineering with +10 years relevant experience would put you to the top of our list.
We’re also keen to hear from candidates with solid people leadership experience and a background in engineering and/or asset management. Your experience will ensure you use your technical, commercial and risk skills to make decisions. You will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and both internal and external stakeholders.
