The Precinct General Manager is based at Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport and holds strategic and operational accountability for Novotel Auckland Airport and ibis Budget Auckland Airport, while working in close partnership across the wider airport precinct to ensure a seamless, connected guest experience and strong brand alignment.

Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport delivers an unparalleled five-star airport hotel experience with 311 generously appointed guestrooms. From its informal lobby hub to the panoramic rooftop bar and dining venue, Te Kaahu, guests are immersed in refined luxury and breathtaking sunset views stretching from the Manukau Harbour to the Auckland skyline. Job Description

  • Provide visible, strategic leadership across Accor’s Auckland Airport precinct, based at Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport and overseeing Novotel Auckland Airport and ibis Budget Auckland Airport.
  • Drive precinct-wide commercial and financial performance, leading revenue growth, profitability, cost control, and capital planning in a complex, high-volume 24/7 airport environment.
  • Champion operational excellence and brand integrity, ensuring consistent delivery of premium guest experiences aligned to each brand’s standards and positioning.
  • Build high-performing leadership teams and a strong Heartist culture, embedding engagement, wellbeing, succession planning, and leadership development across the precinct.
  • Lead with cultural awareness and authenticity, championing inclusive practices and ensuring Tikanga and Te Ao Māori are respectfully reflected in guest experience, people practices, and precinct initiatives.
  • Act as the senior representative for Accor, maintaining trusted relationships with owners, Auckland Airport, iwi, and key stakeholders, and serving as the primary escalation point.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the precinct’s reputation within the tourism and hospitality community.

Qualifications

  • Proven General Manager or senior multi-hotel leadership experience, ideally within airport, large-scale, or mixed-brand environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience leading complex operations and multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams in fast-paced, high-volume settings.
  • Experience working closely with owners, boards, and external stakeholders, building trust and confidence.
  • A genuine appreciation of the cultural context of operating in Aotearoa New Zealand, with the ability to lead respectfully and inclusively.
