The opportunity

The primary objective/s of the position are to undertake operational activities associated with proactive and responsive civil maintenance works on CHW’s water and wastewater network.

As a key member of the Maintenance Delivery team, the incumbent will be expected to work within a small work team undertaking proactive and responsive civil maintenance activities and take personal accountability over safety and contribute to a proactive safety culture within the team.

• Relevant qualifications and experience.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to enable efficient and effective service delivery and teamwork.
• Sound understanding of safety and relevant industry regulations and demonstrated proactive safety leadership.
• Capability to asses future works with other key stakeholders and deliver preventative maintenance programs 
• Physical capacity and ability to work outdoors under a variety of environmental conditions.
• Ability to undertake 24/7 standby roster
