As a key member of our Pricing team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our pricing strategies. You will partner closely with the Specialty Lines underwriting teams across Agriculture, Engineering, and Marine & Energy to develop and implement differentiated, market‑leading pricing capabilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering best‑in-class transactional pricing by developing a deep, objective understanding of risk through rigorous technical assessments of reinsurance contracts across your assigned markets. You will provide clear and practical structural advice, as well as contribute innovative ideas that directly support and enhance underwriting decision‑making.

Your expertise and contribution will be critical to SCOR’s long‑term success. By combining technical excellence with innovative thinking, you will help advance our pricing strategies, support sustainable profitability, and reinforce SCOR’s position as a leader in the global reinsurance industry.

  • Own High‑Impact Transactional Pricing: Take ownership of best‑practice transactional pricing by developing a deep, objective understanding of risk through rigorous technical assessments of reinsurance contracts across your markets. Act as a trusted partner to Underwriting by providing high‑quality structural advice, hands‑on technical support, and fresh, innovative perspectives.

  • Engage with Clients and the Market: Add value to client meetings through insightful pricing analytics and help represent SCOR at selected industry events. Work closely with Underwriting to shape client engagement roadmaps and translate strategic priorities into tangible business outcomes.

  • Work with Focus, Autonomy, and Agility: Experience a clear and structured annual rhythm: dedicate March, June, and October to December fully to renewals, while using other periods to focus on impactful projects and strategic initiatives. Operate with an agile mindset – limiting work in progress, prioritizing what matters most, and seeing your ideas move quickly from concept to implementation.

  • Reinsurance Pricing Expertise: At least two years of handson pricing experience within a global reinsurance environment, with exposure to multiple lines of business. Experience in Speciality Lines is a strong advantage.

  • Strong Technical & Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in statistical computing languages such as Python or R, supported by solid programming experience. Demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytics and machinelearning techniques, ideally within an actuarial or pricing context.

  • Resilient and SolutionsOriented Mindset: Comfortable working under pressure and meeting demanding deadlines, with a positive, pragmatic approach to problemsolving and continuous improvement.

  • Recognised Professional Qualification: Qualified actuary with a globally recognised actuarial body.
