Job Description

What is our role 

As a Principal Planner, you’ll take the lead on high-profile urban development projects, working alongside some of the brightest minds in planning, design, economics, and engagement. You’ll manage complex projects, build strong client relationships, and help shape the future of our cities.

The ideal person will

  • Have a strong ability to Project Manage career defining appointments whilst  organically growing industry relationships particularly in CBD planning and planning for medium to high rise development.
  • Seasoned in statutory planning with a proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Provide advice directly to a range of clients across both private and government authorities.
  • Competency to project manage other staff including delegating, supervising, and reviewing work and delivering projects within budget and scope

Qualifications

  • A degree in Planning or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in urban planning
  • Mindset that creates high value and solutions focused.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects (a plus).
