You will define roadmaps, budgets and success metrics, shape SOWs with sales and architects, and negotiate at executive levels while improving Oracle delivery. Manage cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, coordinate with adjacent initiatives and mentor junior PMs while contributing to pre-sales and benefits. Requirements: 10+ years in project management with Oracle experience, 3–5 years in a senior role, a tertiary degree, and formal PM certification (PRINCE2, PMP or Agile) preferred. Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large and complex projects with multiple streams (functional, technical, integrations, data, change, testing) and vendor partners.
  • Own overall commercial performance– revenue, margin, forecasting, billing and cost management – and actively drive profitability and growth.
  • Create and oversee program and project definitions, roadmaps, schedules, budgets and success measures, ensuring alignment to business case and strategic outcomes.
  • Shape and review Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates and work breakdown structures, working closely with sales, solution architects and Oracle practice leads.
  • Lead scope and commercial negotiations at an executive level, including change control, variations and contract clarification.
  • Provide thought leadership and direction for Oracle delivery approaches, methods and tools, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
  • Oversee cross-functional delivery teams, including senior project managers, workstream leads and cross-vendor teams, ensuring clear ownership, collaboration and accountability.
  • Lead robust risk, issue and dependency management across programs or projects and related initiatives, ensuring proactive mitigation and transparent escalation.
  • Coordinate dependencies with adjacent initiatives (e.g. CRM, HCM, data, integration or infrastructure programs) to ensure coherent end-to-end outcomes.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and oversight to project managers and delivery leads; review plans, risks and reports, and step in where escalation or recovery is needed.
  • Contribute to pre-sales and bid activity – shaping delivery models, writing SOWs/approach sections, presenting to customers and helping close new opportunities.
  • Champion change management, adoption and benefits realisation, working with business change teams to ensure Oracle solutions deliver tangible business value.

Skills & qualifications you will bring

  • 10+ years’ experience in project management, including several large Oracle or enterprise application programs or projects; at least 3–5 years in a Senior/Principal PM or Program Manager role.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, information technology, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Formal project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum) strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of project and program management methodologies, governance, financial management and commercial constructs (T&M, fixed price, outcome-based, etc.).
