Spirax Group is seeking a Process Engineer, Automated Welding, in Cheltenham, offering on-site with hybrid options. You will develop, validate and optimise automated and semi-automated welding processes, define critical weld parameters, and maintain WPS and PQRs while ensuring ISO 15614, ISO 3834, ASME and customer standards. You’ll support design, commissioning and validation of welding equipment, lead root-cause analysis, and drive Lean/Six Sigma improvements, training operators and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Production and Maintenance. Ideal candidates have proven experience with automated or robotic welding (orbital welding a plus), strong metallurgy knowledge, and a structured, proactive problem-solving approach.
