We are looking for a Processing Operator III to join our BASF Agricultural Solutions team in Parma, ID.

As a Processing Operator III in our Parma, ID site, you will be responsible of the processing of seed through one of the processing sub-departments, while following standard operating procedures and company guidelines: warehousing/receiving, conditioning, enhancement, treatment and packaging/shipping. This requires following instructions and accurately measuring seed materials necessary to fulfill the processing manufacturing orders.

During your shift as a Processing Operator III, you will

 

  • Understand and follow all standard operating procedures and accredited procedures (NAL) in accordance with Processing Management in order to ensure Processing standards and global standardization are maintained. You will also participate in continuous improvement activities on the work floor.
  • Understand and follow all safety policies and procedure in accordance with corporate, local, state and federal mandates to ensure regulatory compliance, as well as understand and perform good housekeeping practices for all assigned areas of responsibility to achieve a safe work environment.
  • Pass lift truck/reach truck training and safely use these as directed to move seed or other materials.
  • Execute a part of the processes within PRC sub-department.
  • Train new employees in departmental processes.

If you...

 

  • Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have 2+ years of manufacturing and/or agricultural operations or other related experience.
  • Are able to gain certification (internal training) to operate a forklift and/or reach truck safely and competently.
  • Have intermediate computer/MS Office skills, for basic usage and understanding of Excel formulas
  • SAP experience, preferred.
