Puratos is seeking a Procurement Buyer to negotiate and execute national contracts for Canada across assigned categories with a $20M plus spend, based in Chilliwack BC or Mississauga ON and onsite with occasional travel. You will manage supplier relationships, lead market analyses and RFPs, negotiate terms with Legal, and support budgeting, cross functional initiatives, and new business opportunities across production facilities. Ideal candidates have 3-5 plus years in procurement, a relevant degree, strong sourcing and contract skills, ERP/MRP experience and SAP is a plus, with excellent organization and communication. Highlight measurable cost savings, supplier performance improvements and cross functional impact in your resume. Your Mission
The Procurement Buyer will be responsible for negotiating and executing procurement contracts and services nationally across all Canadian locations for their assigned categories, with an estimated spend of $20M+. Overall duties include market research and analysis, contract and pricing negotiation, vendor relationship management, productivity, and strategic planning supporting the associated production facilities. Works with, and supports, other business areas on cross-functional needs such as supplier documentation, communication, budget preparation, financial planning, and new business initiatives.
