Foodstuffs South Island in Motueka is hiring for a part-time on-site Produce Department role, with Monday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday 9.00am to 6.00pm shifts. The job focuses on fresh food handling and presentation, packing produce, delivering excellent customer service, lifting crates, and upholding high departmental standards under the Food Control Plan. The right candidate will bring superb customer service, sharp attention to detail, reasonable fitness, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. We are looking for an honest, reliable, enthusiastic person to fill a position in our Produce Department, this is a part- time position.

Monday 8.00am-5.00pm

Sunday 9.00am -6.00pm

The position involves:     

• Fresh food handling and preparation of produce products 
• Packing and presentation of produce products
• Excellent Customer Service
• Lifting of produce crates 
• Maintaining high standards within the Department and complying with our Food Control Plan 

The successful applicant will:

• Have excellent customer service skills
• Show attention to detail
• Be reasonably fit 
• Be able to work in a team and independently
