We now have an opportunity for a Product & Services Technician to join our team.   Based at our Brisbane, QLD office and travelling to our clients across Papua New Guinea (PNG), you will provide customers with Specialty Lubricant Products, Service & Support for heavy-duty plant and equipment, predominantly in the mining, quarrying and industrial sectors.

Job Description

You will focus on mining / manufacturing plant and equipment such as excavators, shovels, other mobile equipment, ball mills and conveyors and strategically contribute to the technical service and sales support associated with specialty lubricants and lubrication systems.  

This role is key in delivering technical service and solutions for commercial customer’s equipment, ultimately delivering commercial strategic value.

This is a FIFO role where you will be based in either Brisbane or Cairns to travel direct to our mining customers across Papua New Guinea.

Consideration can be given to residents of PNG who hold the required Visa for employment in Australia and able to relocate permanently to Australia (Brisbane or Cairns).

Qualifications

About you

• You are a Trade Certified Mechanical Fitter (mandatory).
• Currently based in either Brisbane or Cairns, QLD.
• Able to travel FIFO on an 8/6 Roster.
• Technically skilled and customer centric you will use your hands-on technical aptitude and knowledge in heavy industry or a transport / related discipline.
• You are independently motivated, and an energetic achiever with a passion for providing and articulating technical solutions in a team environment.
• Results oriented and highly analytical, you will demonstrate exceptional communication skills coupled with a trade background and specific maintenance experience related to plant and equipment.
