Ideal candidates hold tertiary qualifications in Design or Pattern Making or relevant development experience, strong tech pack and grading knowledge, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel, plus excellent supplier negotiation. Process and fit styles monthly, ensuring all designs are delivered on time and to spec.
Manage accurate and timely data entry across systems to keep the critical path seamless.
Partner with Design to support margin targets and contribute to Lower Impact (LI) product goals.
Review tech packs, action fit comments, and drive end-to-end style progression from concept through production.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and factories.
Support quality assurance through accurate measurements, spec adherence, and thorough fit session follow-ups.
Work closely with Supply Chain to maintain timelines, raw material planning, and on-time delivery of samples.
Process tech packs and samples weekly, accurately and on time, maintaining category margins.
Deliver styles from concept to ex-factory within 8 weeks, using no more than two samples.
Send fit comments within 24 hours to keep development moving.
Achieve category-level return rates at or below benchmarks.
Actively contribute to a solutions-focused, high-performing team culture.
Tertiary qualifications in Design, Pattern Making, or Grading (preferred) OR relevant product development experience.
Strong understanding of tech packs, garment specs, and pattern making/grading fundamentals.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Excel, and industry-standard software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence suppliers.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A keen eye for detail, fit, quality, and emerging fashion trends.
