Voyis is seeking a Product Manager for a full time onsite role at our Waterloo headquarters to own the product roadmap across hardware and software, define new features and configurations, coordinate lifecycle management, and partner with engineering, sales and marketing to articulate value to scientific, industrial and defense customers. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear customer content, manage delivery timelines, and keep stakeholders aligned with Voyis strategy. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in technical product management, a solid foundation in software, firmware, electrical and embedded systems, and strong cross functional collaboration skills. Bonus for subsea, offshore, or maritime experience and data processing know how. Salary 100,000 to 150,000 CAD, onsite with some travel, plus flexible hours, education funds, profit sharing and RRSP matching. What you’ll do:
As a Product Manager at Voyis you will be directly involved in all aspects of the product that we offer spanning roadmap management, product definition & configuration management, and collaboration with technical and commercial teams. This multifaceted role is ideal for candidates that want to have broad ownership for evolving our current product lineup, improve our product management processes, and supporting the vision and strategy for Voyis. Our products have technical complexity including optics, embedded compute, rugged hardware and reliable industrial instrumentation software for control and processing – and all of this in a challenging, harsh environment (up to 20,000 ft below the sea!)
We are looking for someone with strong product management experience, and a solid technical foundation in both hardware and software fields, has an eager to bring their energy and expertise for developing advanced robotics and sensor systems. Our customer base ranges scientific, industrial, and defense users with a range of priorities and challenges. This role will be an opportunity to expand your capabilities while engaging with leaders in the field of subsea robotics and become an expert in underwater sensors.
This is a primarily in-person role at our headquarters in Waterloo. Some travel will be required to visit customer and industry tradeshows.
