Product Owner, Integrations Marketplace
ChainelsChainels is hiring its first Product Owner for the Integrations Marketplace. The role sits at the Rotterdam HQ with a hybrid work setup and reports to the CEO. If you’re comfortable turning ambiguous client requests into clear plans for builders and deciding quickly whether to standardise a request or treat it as a one-off, this could be a fit. You’ll be the go-to person for managing the intake, prioritisation and end-to-end delivery of integrations.
Chainels builds the operating system for real estate and urban spaces. TenantOS helps property managers and landlords run their buildings, while City Connect supports community managers across cities and business parks. The company is AI-native and Claude-first, with daily use of Claude across teams. They’re post-Series A, trusted in more than 20 countries, powering over 1,000 communities and half a million users, and aiming for €10M ARR.
The Integrations Marketplace is the layer that connects Chainels to the rest of the real estate tech stack, from ERP and CRM systems to smart-building tech and AI agents. You’ll own this layer, decide what to build, what to standardise and what to charge for, and turn a growing stream of requests into a scalable Marketplace. You’ll work alongside two other Product Owners who share the road map, and you’ll be based in Rotterdam and report directly to the CEO. You’ll join an integrations team of five and collaborate day to day with builders using n8n Enterprise and Claude Code.
A day in the Integrations Marketplace
Your mornings will typically start with intake and prioritisation of new integration requests, data imports and improvements on live connections. You’ll scope discussions with clients, partners and vendors, then translate those conversations into precise specifications for the builders to execute. As you see a pattern across requests, you’ll steer the transition from bespoke, one-off builds to standard Marketplace products, category by category. You’ll also run the Marketplace itself, keeping tabs on what’s supported, current status, ETAs and pricing input, so stakeholders always know where things stand. Alongside this, you’ll maintain the Integrations Playbook as the single source of truth and help shape the 2027 integrations framework with engineering, including new API endpoints, observability and service accounts. All of this happens in close collaboration with a small team of builders, who work daily on these problems using n8n Enterprise and Claude Code.
What you bring to the table
Three-plus years in a Product Owner or technical product management role, ideally focused on APIs, integrations or platform products
A solid technical grasp of APIs, webhooks, authentication and data mapping, with the ability to read API docs and challenge a vendor’s assumptions
You’re comfortable speaking with clients, third parties and developers, often within the same week
A sharp sense of prioritisation and the backbone to say no when needed
A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science or a related IT field
Familiarity with Agile development workflows
Bonus: experience in data or agency environments, familiarity with PropTech or real estate, or hands-on work with n8n or LLM-based tooling
What you’ll get in return
Chainels offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes a modern pension plan, plus a yearly personal development budget to support your growth. The role comes with a hybrid working model, a company laptop, and 25 days of annual leave. You’ll enjoy complimentary lunch and snacks at the office, and you’ll join team outings, regular Friday drinks, and occasional team trips away. The environment is fast-growing and international, with a strong culture that celebrates results and supports each other’s growth through shared successes and failures.
We are currently not hiring applicants who live outside of the EU.
Tips to help you stand out in this search
Lead your resume with an example where you scoped an integration project, turned it into a clear specification for builders and then decided whether the next request should become a standard Marketplace product or a billable one-off, ideally in an API or integration context.
Show how you prove you have the must-haves by sharing concrete work that demonstrates reading API docs, validating authentication and data mapping, and how you challenged vendor assumptions to keep the scope tight and doable.
Be ready to talk through prioritisation decisions and how you apply Agile practices to balance client needs with product roadmap constraints, including how you’ve collaborated with clients, partners and developers in the same week.
Ask a thoughtful question about how Chainels plans to build the 2027 integrations framework, for example how new API endpoints, observability and service accounts will be implemented and measured in practice.
