AISIN CORPORATION is seeking a Production Control Specialist to manage inventory across mass production, service and new model programs, coordinating raw materials, components and packaging to meet customer demand and internal capacity. The role includes gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources to forecast plant needs and building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and the team to monitor demand changes. You’ll coordinate engineering change instructions and ramp up activities while pursuing cost reductions and improvements in output accuracy. Qualifications include an associates degree or equivalent and at least two years in production control, automotive experience preferred. ●  Responsible for Inventory Control including verification of inventory amounts for mass production,  service and new model, in accordance with customer/production demand and supplier/internal capacity. (includes but not limited to:raw material, component, product, supplies, power equipment, packaging) ●  Obtain, organize and analyze data from multiple sources to provide forecast to the plant for resource planning. ●  Develop and maintain relationship with customers, and monitor and react to demand changes.   ●  Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers, and monitor and control supplier activities.   ●  Develop and maintain relationship with the team, closely coodinating with appropriate personnel.   ●  Coordinate and process engineering change instruction (ECI), and associated ramp up / build out activities. ●  Identify opportunities to reduce overall cost and manhour needed within the department and implement. ●  Identify opportunities to improve accuracy of output from the department and implement.   ●  Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety, security and quality standards.   ●  All other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management.               Qualifications ●  Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred. ●  Two years of prior applicable experience in Production Control preferred. ●  Automotive experience preferred.
