Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or a HS diploma with 5+ years in a cGMP environment; ERP experience such as SAP preferred; Lean/Six Sigma a plus; ability to lift 35 lbs; onsite, full-time; pay range 24 to 37 per hour; visa sponsorship is not offered. Your Role:

 

The Production Coordinator position supports manufacturing at the MilliporeSigma St Louis Broadway site.  In this role you will be assisting the manufacturing teams for production readiness, inventory maintenance, material movement, and batch planning.  The coordinator will assess material needs against approved BOM’s and coordinate with procurement to successfully hit manufacturing targets and schedule attainment.  Received materials will be tracked through release and transferred by the coordinator to the manufacturing areas.  Upon physical consumption of materials into the manufacturing process, remaining inventory will be transferred back into inventory.  

 

  • Perform cycle counts on production inventory; process inventory discard reports and submit to management
  • Transfer orders of materials into the production area
  • Waste transfer material to discard
  • Stage and Deliver Consumables to Appropriate Locations
  • Pull and prepare materials and components for use in manufacturing
  • Work within OSHA guidelines for safe working environments
  • Work within all local SOP’s and adherence to Quality requirements
  • Communicate to management and across multiple departments 

 

Physical Attributes:

 

  • Lift, push, pull or move up to 35 lbs independantly, 50lb assisted
  • Wear appropriate PPE such as necessary (e.g., safety shoes and safety goggles)

 

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline 

 

OR

 

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years’ experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • 1+ years in a cGMP setting, manufacturing, manufacturing planning or inventory analyst
  • 1+ years working in an ERP system such as SAP
  • 5+ years in a cGMP setting
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principals
  • Proven track record of interdepartmental communication success
  • Familiar with manual, electric and walking stacker pallet jacks

 

  • Pay Range for this position: $24.00-$37.00. 
  • The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
