As a Production Engineer within the business unit Advanced Analytics, you are responsible for a reliable and stable production process. You ensure that we deliver a high-quality product within customer specifications in the most efficient way possible, and continuously work on improving the efficiency, stability, and quality of that process.
You are part of a close-knit team of NPI and production engineers and work closely with project leaders, manufacturing, quality, and supplier quality engineers. Under the leadership of the manager manufacturing engineering, you collaborate daily with colleagues to solve production issues and advance the process.
Additionally, you are a key link in the technical alignment with customers and suppliers. You translate technical issues into workable solutions and ensure that changes are managed and well-founded.
Providing first-line production support and intervening immediately in case of problems on the work floor to ensure progress;
Proposing and implementing improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency, stability, and quality of the production process;
Developing and optimizing tooling, for example, with 3D-printed solutions;
Managing and implementing changes through the Change Control Board (CCB);
Analyzing and solving problems with 8D and root cause analysis, and implementing the associated mitigations.
We are looking for a driven and solution-oriented Production Engineer with the following background:
HBO level of education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation, or a similar technical field;
Several years of experience in a production or engineering environment, preferably within high-tech or precision engineering;
Knowledge and experience in process improvement and problem analysis, for example, through Lean, 8D, and root cause analysis, with a Green Belt being a plus;
A proactive, hands-on attitude where you easily switch between the work floor and the technical alignment with customers and suppliers;
Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Salary ranging from €4,500.00 to €5,500.00 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
