TE Connectivity is hiring a Production Machinist I for the weekend 4th shift in Manheim, PA. You will operate CNC equipment, read blueprints, troubleshoot flow issues, perform quality checks, and keep a safe, clean climate controlled production floor. Duties may include screw machines such as Citizen, Tsugami and SR20, milling and shipping. Requirements include US citizenship or lawful permanent residency due to ITAR, a high school diploma or GED, detail orientation, teamwork, and overtime flexibility; you must be able to lift 40 lbs. Compensation ranges $19.61-$29.42 with a 22% shift premium and full benefits. This position will be working 4th shift which works Friday through Sunday 6 am – 6 pm.
Individuals working 4th shift receive 22% shift premium on top of their hourly rate.
Responsibilities:
• Applies basic job skills to operate CNC machining equipment and perform various secondary tasks such as tumbling, reworking, and cleaning
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately operate CNC machining equipment.
• Work with team to trouble shoot operations and/or flow issues
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards, and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Meet documented and communicated standards for quality and productivity
• Keep records of production quantities and time
• Work safely with small hand tools and measuring equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Duties could include:
• Operate Screw Machine: Citizen, SR10, Tsugami, SR20 Machine
• Operate Milling
• Shipping
• Secondary work.
Qualifications:
• Due to ITAR restrictions, US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residency is required for this position
• Use independent judgement and basic problem-solving skills to accomplish tasks
• Follow both written and verbal instructions, with a high attention to detail
• Flexibility to work overtime to meet company demands
• Ability to work in a team environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Relevant work experience
Physical Demands:
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.61- $29.42 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
